I want to learn.

I want to learn. I want to learn so much and so well, that even I am impressed. I want to be like Granny. I want to recognise birdsong and plants. I want to read Metamorphoses and other translated classics. And then I want to annotate them, I want to make notes in the margins and suck all that information into my brain. I want to read De Wereld van Sofie - be it graphic or original - and learn about all the different kinds of philosophies. I want to learn Danish to the extent of being able to read a proper book. I want to read in French. Right now, I’ve only read 14 of the 100 Novels that Changed the World. I want to read all of them, understand them, and form my own opinions on them. I want to learn specific dates: the lifetimes of authors, the names of the eras, the important events. I want to learn BSL. I want to expand my vocabulary and learn the quirkiest words. I want to be educated on all current affairs.
